Creative Arts of St. Tammany (CAST) Children's Theater in Abita Springs presents Alice in Wonderland!!!!

Creative Arts of St. Tammany (CAST) Children's Theater presents it's theater version of Alice in Wonderland (adapted from lewis Carrols Famous Novel by Jeanish Janquish).  This wonderful production is directed by Jennifer Harageones Patterson and Assistant Directed by Erin Fernandez.  Opening night is Friday, August 12, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. with additional performances on August 13, 19, 20, 26, and 27th.  All Friday performances are at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday shows are at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m..  Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children ages 3-17.  To purchase tickets in advance, please call 1-866-967-8167.  The Swan Theater is located at 70326 Highway 59 in Abita Springs across from Coburn's Plumbing.  For more information, please visit www.dramaandmusic.com.

2011 St Tammany Children's Museum, Celebration of Discovery, Video

In 2004, the Junior League of Greater Covington initiated talks with Parish President Kevin Davis to build a children's museum in St. Tammany. In 2009, the museum groundbreaking was held at its future home on Koop Drive adjacent to the Kids Konnection playground.

What a really great fun and exciting place for children in St Tammany. Attached is a short video of the Celebration of Discovery.

The Louisiana Renaissance Festival, Hammond Louisiana

The Renaissance Festival is every weekend in November and the first 2 weekends in December. Live Jousting, Birds of Prey demonstrations, Arts and Crafts, Glass Blowing, Swords.

The Festival is located at 46468 River Road, Hammond, LA 70401, just one mile north of Hammond High School on Hwy 1064. (aka River Road).

I have actually just seen the advertisement for the Faire recently, and in retrospect would have liked to have posted this information back in October. However... Hope to see you there.
